Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed.

Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.

May

A Weekend with David Hulse

May 2nd - 4th

Friday Night May 2nd, 7:30 PM:

Open meeting - Introduction with David

Saturday, May 3rd 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Workshop

An Adventure through the 7 Centers of Spiritual and Physical Power!

The Seven Centers of Spiritual and Physical Power – also called Chakras or Energy Centers – are a wonderful analogy for our growth as spiritual beings having a human experience. This seminar will explore how to manage your power for better health, and expanded spiritual awareness. Inspired by the excellent books Anatomy of Spirit, by Carolyn Myss, Ph.D., Wheels of Life by Anodea Judith, PhD, and others, David will lead you through the seven centers of power to help you ground and center your energy, open your heart to love, and develop your intuition. We know you will be transformed by the powerful merging of the metaphysical meanings of the Christian Sacraments, the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life, and the Hindu Chakras.

Sunday, May 4th, 10:30 AM Service:

“Living with How Things Are”

Sunday, may 4th - Afternoon Workshop 1:00 - 3:00 PM

Healing Power of Music

Let's face it. Modern life is stressful. We juggle hectic lifestyles: We work long hours, do volunteer work and get involved in lots of activities with families and friends. We squeeze in housekeeping, chores, exercise, shopping and countless personal and professional commitments. Is it any wonder we suffer from tension headaches, high blood pressure and a host of other stress-related disorders?
What if we could soothe our frazzled nerves and dissolve tensions we've built up over the day - without any effort at all? What if the solution was as inexpensive and easy as listening to music? It is. And, according to experts, even many health problems can be helped by the power of music and healing with sound.

We all feel like we carry the weight of the world on our shoulders, but did you realize it could, quite literally, be true? Our body is the storehouse of all our unresolved emotions. Holding on to all this excess baggage can be a great strain on our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This can lead to illness and depression. Oftentimes, these emotions surface as habits that we are unable to break, no matter how hard we try. Meditation can help you release all this excess baggage and bring peace and clarity to your life. Revolutionary new meditation techniques have been developed by Paramahamsa Sri Nithyananda to address the issues of the 21st century. Lose some of your “weight” as we experience the Life Bliss Meditation.

Presenter Ma Ananda Sadaajit has 19 years experience in meditation. She studied with several master teachers, but finally found the answers she was looking for when she met Nithyananda. The meditations she presents have revolutionized her life and her mission is to offer these techniques to others. She is an ordained acharya (teacher) with the Life Bliss Foundation.

Holly Near - May 19th

Holly Near is an outspoken activist, singer, teacher, and recording artist and has spent the past 35 years working for progressive political and social change. Holly Near is a unique combination of entertainer, teacher and activist. An immense vocal talent, Near's career as a singer has been profoundly defined by an unwillingness to separate her passion for music from her passion for human dignity. A folk singer by content, a cabaret singer by style, a humorist by contrast, a healer by spirit, and a humanitarian by nature, a Holly Near concert is a musical delight. She is a skilled performer and an outspoken ambassador for peace. Whether on stage at Carnegie Hall or on a flatbed truck at a rally, Holly is singing for our lives.
