Unity offers you a distinctive choice in the type of
church you attend:

We offer positive, spiritually-based tools to better
equip you to face the challenges of everyday life.

We welcome everyone into our spiritual community
regardless of race, ethnic background, or sexual orientation.

We teach that each of us is “created in the image and
after the likeness of God,” (Gen. 1:27) and is therefore inherently
good.

Our focus is a Christian one. However, we also believe
that there are many paths to God, and that all roads which lead to God
are good.

We teach that Jesus is “the great example” rather than
“the great exception.” Instead of worshipping Jesus, we do our best to
learn from him and to follow him.

The God we teach is not one of judgment but of
everlasting and unconditional love.

We teach that Heaven and Hell are current-day states of
mind and heart, and that Jesus taught us how to live in Heaven now by
living a life of compassion and forgiveness.
