THE COMFORT OF CHRISTMAS – Be Not Afraid
“and the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see – I bring you good news of great joy for all people.” Just as the shepherds were comforted that night, the theme for this Unity Advent season is “be not afraid.” This Christmas season is a special time that reminds us that, no matter how difficult or challenging a situation or experience may be, there is news of great joy…of the powerful Christ energy that is once again birthed within us, which guides and comforts us.
Join us on this metaphysical journey through the Christmas story each Sunday of Advent at our 11:00 am Sunday Services.
Focusing on the Advent theme of that week, we will also explore the spiritual meaning and significance of the characters, places, and themes leading up to the celebration of the birth of Jesus, and the awakening of the Christ Presence within each one of us.
For the first Advent, we will focus on Hope and Faith.
