Unity of Charlotte celebrates World Day of Prayer
We will host a Taize Service on Thursday evening, September 12th, in-person.
Come join us for a sacred time of prayer, music, and silence as we fuel our faith with this inspirational service. Open to everyone (invite your friends and family).
Taizé prayer is a simple, meditative form of joining as we are called to dwell deeply on the Divine Presence within us and around us. Created by a monastic community in Taizé, France, it is a cycle of songs, short readings, and prayerful silence which guide the focus in a peaceful, contemplative environment.
Questions for Reflection:
When has faith moved you from uncertainty to audacity in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges? How has your faith grown and matured? When your faith is waning, how do you encourage yourself? How can you connect with others and activate your combined faith to move the mountain in response to communal crises or collective needs?
